interesting, AMD went long today, honestly not a bad entry - just 1 bar off the lows

    When does the entry price

When does the entry price show up in the tables?.  Also, is there a webinar explaining what Demarks are?

    the tables use the entry

Posted by matt on 25th of Apr 2024 at 05:33 pm

the tables use the entry price for the next day open - again it's all in the FAQ that has been in the KISS system for a while so please take the time to read that. Stats are generally better to enter that same day though, but because the standard daily are communicated after hrs all the trade % numbers are using the next day's open price for the entry. This will not be the case for high performance, they will use exact entry prices from that same day.

as far as Demark - I've posted this 58 page PDF a dozen times, here you go, nerd out this evening reading that or the weekend

here's that AMD KISS chart from the KISS tables that went long, that was likely triggered from the washout oversold reversal on the KISS system, also had a Demark 9

    While the current AMD stock

Posted by te22 on 26th of Apr 2024 at 07:47 am

While the current AMD stock price may be attractive technically, Intel's (INTC) recent earnings report signals potential headwinds. INTC reported weakness in the PC segment and softer-than-expected data center demand, excluding AI. Given the competitive landscape, it may be prudent to temper expectations for AMD's Q1 2024 results on April 30th. The PC market slowdown and muted non-AI data center demand could impact AMD's Client and Data Center segments. If you plan to take a position or add to an existing one, consider keeping some powder dry. This way, if AMD's earnings disappoint and the stock dips, you can add at more attractive levels. AMD valuation 29x next year EPS vs NVDA 28x at last night's after hours 8PM closing price. Considering NVDA AI exposure, it is arguably better positioned from end-market perspective for upcoming earnings than AMD. One other factor to note: April is one of the worst months seasonally for Semis, while May is a positive month (90%).
