Definition:
Although the definition of a Kicker does not force the stock to be in a multi-candle downtrend, we prefer that scenario. A Bullish Kicker is defined as a stock that closes with a long down candle at or near the low of the candle and then gapping above the previous candle's open and high and holding above while closing with a long up candle at or near the candle's high. Again I love to watch the pattern after Three Black Crows or a more prolonger down trend.
