Overview: Gold hit a major bottom in late 2001 which marked the end of its Secular Bear Market and the start of a secular bull market. Note that secular bull/bear markets are long term cycles which can last anywhere from 10 to almost 20 years. , the current bull market in gold is still in its infancy. I think gold, precious metals, and commodities will be among the strongest market sectors until 2010 at least. Also, the general public is not yet interested in gold, but they will be in the future. I think gold, precious metals, and commodities could one day trade like the internet stocks did in the late 90's when the general public became overly involved and excited. Of course, once this finally occurs with gold and precious metals, the top will be near, but we are a long way away from that. Also be sure to look at the CRB Commodity charts below, they clearly demonstrate that commodities are in a major bull market. |
